Obituary
At home, on January 5, 2023. Predeceased by husbands Pasquale Cannella and John Mitrano, sister Freda Hill, brother Charles Scardino, nephew Steven Scardino, former son-in-law and dear friend Don Parker and best friend Tina Pinzon. Survived by daughter Cheryl Cannella, son Anthony Cannella, grandchildren Anthony Parker, Chelsea (Philip) Williams, Julia Keys; great grandchildren Parker and Liam Williams; sister-in-law Terry Scardino; many nieces, nephews and cousins. For their abundant love and support of Sarah, her family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Sarah's nieces Christina Scardino McCormick and Jean Hill Oswald; friends Judy Bamburoski, Karen Hayden, Laura VanBuren and the wonderful URMC Hospice team. In an effort to advance Alzheimer's research, Sarah chose to be an anatomical donor with the University of Rochester. Friends and family are invited to a Funeral Mass on Saturday April 29, 2023 at 11AM at Parish of the Holy Family, 4100 Lyell Rd. Rochester, NY 14606. Interment will be private at a later date in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
