Susan S. (Rutherford) McManus

Livonia: Sue passed on April 27, 2020, age 57, at her home in Livonia surrounded by the love of her family. After being diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2018, Sue fought hard and enjoyed life by spending much time with her family and taking trips to Florida. She was born on April 18, 1963 in Rochester, NY to Richard Rutherford and Shirley Rutherford (Stubbe).
She is survived by her loving husband of 15 years Michael McManus; siblings Ronald (Cheryl) Rutherford, Thomas (Jenny) Rutherford, Donald (Diane) Rutherford and Judy (Tom) Keysa; sons Robert W. (Emily) Seaman and Richard J. (Amanda) Seaman; 4 stepchildren; 11 grandchildren; numerous nieces; nephews and friends.
In life, Sue was known for her generosity to family and those in need. She lived for her children and grandchildren; loved them to the moon, back and more. She will be remembered always for her strong will and zest for life.
Sue will be laid to rest beside her parents in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Resurrection Garden Mausoleum, Mater Christi Section. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at a later date at a time to be announced.
