Tom passed away suddenly on February 11, 2020. He was predeceased by his parents Norene and Donald and siblings Tim and Karen. Tom is survived by his wife of 30 years Joan Bostwick, his daughters Katie and Elizabeth Hogan, brothers Mike (Georgeanne), Larry (Donna), Terry (Tom Clark) and John (Debbie); sister-in-law Laura Hogan and best friend Don (Cathy) Rath as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.
Tom was a lifelong resident of Scottsville and parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. He was one of seven children in the Hogan family, growing up on Browns Road and graduating in 1979 from Wheatland-Chili Central School. He participated in soccer, swimming and baseball during school and was the pool’s 500 yard freestyle record holder for over 30 years.
Tom ran his own stone engraving business and was an active member of the Holy Angel’s Cemetery committee. He enjoyed his annual deer hunting adventures with his brothers and friends. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and looks forward to them winning the Super Bowl soon. The highlights of his day were sharing a funny anecdote with his best friend Don and taking a ride with his dog Lucy in search of deer.
His daughters, Lizzie and Katie, were the light of his life and he will be greatly missed by them and the love of his life, Joan.
