Tisart Robinson

       Tisart Robinson bravely completed his passage on Sunday, July 21, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones. Tisart was better known as “Tizz” or “Tizzy,” also as Snoop Dogg, because of his similarities in looks to the rapper. He was born on August 14, 1974 at St. Mary’s hospital to his parents Arthur and Annie Louise Robinson.

       As a young child, he played with his siblings, cousins and friends on Normandy Avenue. He attended elementary school at Adlai E. Stevenson School 29 and 37. Tisart also attended Monroe High School, where he got the nickname “Snoop Dogg.”

       He loved listening to music; but spending time with his family and his kids was very important to him. His favorite part time hobbies were watching movies, smoking weed and driving around in nice cars with the speakers knocking. Tisart’s favorite sport was basketball and his favorite color was green. Tizz was previously employed by Tully’s as a cook, where cooking changed from a job into his favorite hobby. He also worked on houses and roofs alongside his brother Tahmede, who is better known as “Boo” from time to time.

       Tisart was a dedicated father and grandfather. His oldest child “Lil T” Tisart Robinson Jr. was born by Samantha Deforge. His baby girl was born by the love of his life, Aiesha, better known as “Kissie”. He was also a dedicated stepfather to two children, Dajah and the late Dahmeer. Tisart leaves behind 4 grandchildren Aiesha, Dahmeer Jr, Italy & Lynnex.

       Tisart also leaves behind to celebrate his life and cherish his memory, his parents Arthur & Annie Robinson; his siblings Urhandus Hall, Arthur, Tamede and Takiyah Robinson. Along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. 

       Friends are invited to call on Tuesday July 30, 2024 from 10 AM - 12 PM at James R. Gray Funeral Home, 1530 Buffalo Road, Rochester, NY 14624. There will be a Celebration of Tisart’s Life at Wegmans Lodge at Seneca Park Zoo, beginning at 2 PM.
