Webster: Passed away on December 3, 2024 at 92 years old. She is predeceased by her husband Delbert Leake Sr.; children Alice Leake, Linda Vereen, Delbert Leake Jr.
She is survived by her children, David Leake and Ruthann Whitfield; grandchildren, Shawn Olles, Angelo Olles, Joseph Olles, Sarah Leake, Danielle Leake, Helena Leake, David Leake Jr., Michael Leake; great grandchildren Alexis, Whitfield, Tazmara Doctor, Philip Whitfield, Justin Whitfield, Selena Soto, Serenity Leake, Alexandra Olles, Bruce Leake, Brianna Leake and Ashlyn Causon; and a large extended family.
She spent most of her career at the University of Rochester, where she worked for 32 years. Following her retirement, she spent all of her free time making memories with her friends and family. She was a brave woman who loved her family and this quote embodies her: Jesus said “Come to me, all you who are weary and carry heavy burden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and let me teach you because I am humble and gentle at heart and you will find rest for your souls” Matthew 11:28-29
