Friends and family are welcomed on Saturday, November 23, 2024 for a service from 9 - 11AM at James R. Gray Funeral Home, 1530 Buffalo Road, Rochester, NY 14624. Following the services at the Funeral Home, guests will be escorted in procession, to Mt. Hope Crematory for religious rites to be performed prior to cremation. We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Venkateshwara Reddy Edara (Venkat) on November 10, 2024. He is survived by his wife Sai, daughters Kethna (8 years old), and Hasini (11 months old), his parents, brother, beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends.

Venkat earned his Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in 2010. He began his career at TCS, then moved to Cognizant, and finally found his place at Excellus as a Cyber Security Engineer. Recognized by his colleagues as an exceptional Security Engineer, Venkat was committed to continuous learning and growth.

He was also a dedicated family man, deeply devoted to his wife and daughters. Known for his vibrant personality, Venkat was beloved for being a people person, always willing to lend a hand. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, was an enthusiastic movie fan, and loved traveling and visiting new places.
