Willie "Roger" Brooks, Sr.

Willie “Roger” Brooks was born on August 20th 1966 in Rochester, New York to the late Hattie Mae and Willie B. Brooks. Roger attended Madison High School but later realized his true passion involved helping his friends and family as a handyman. Roger could be called upon to help out with any project, big or small, and he enjoyed the quality time spent with his family and friends because of it. He loved to create art and his laughter was contagious whenever he was around.

Willie Roger Brooks departed this life on Thursday, November 21st, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Hattie Brooks, brothers Johnnie B. Brooks and Roy Lee Brooks, sisters Eunice McCree and Rachel Babers, and daughter Amber Brooks.

He leaves to cherish his memory, wife Tara Brooks; daughter Onica Brooks; son Willie Brooks Jr; sisters Willie Mae, Betty Dickson (ALA), Annie R., Annie M., Lillie, Jimmie (Robert), Helms (ALA); granddaughter Amelia; sister-in-law Lena Brooks and a host of other relatives and friends.
